Player Bio

A promising young batter, Amy Lousie-Edgar is a professional Australian cricketer for Perth Scorchers Women. Originally from New South Wales, Amy played in the small country town of Cowra as a junior player before becoming a part of the U-15 NSW’s squad that won the premiership title in the 2012-13 domestic season.

After making her debut for NSW in the Women’s Cricket National League, Amy scored her maiden WNCL half-century on February 1st, 2019, scoring 67 in a 78-run loss to Tasmania.

She joined Perth Scorchers in the 2019-20 Women’s Big Bash League as a local replacement player but didn’t get any opportunity to make her debut. Yet to make her debut in the coveted tournament, the 23-year old will be hoping to make her debut in the upcoming WBBL.
