Player Bio

Mukesh Choudhary is an impressive left-arm medium-fast bowler, who has represented Maharashtra at the first-class level. Choudhary has been a part of Maharashtra cricket for quite some time now. He made his first-class debut during the 2017-18 season at Ranji Trophy against Railways at Pune. Since then, he has been a good asset for Maharashtra with the ball and has picked up 33 wickets at the first-class level.

On 8th Nov 2019, he made his T20 debut for Maharashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) against Railways at Chandigarh. In that particular game, he delivered a match-winning spell by picking up 2 wickets and giving away only 10 runs. Since then, he has been a consistent performer in the shortest format of the game. He was also part of the Maharashtra squad in the SMAT 2021 and pocketed 5 wickets in the four matches played.

In the recently concluded mega-auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL), he was bought by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the base price of INR 20 lakhs. So, with that, the doors are open for the Bhilwara-born to perform in the grandest T20 league of the world.
