Player Bio

Sanjay Pahal has quietly built a reputation as a dependable seamer who thrives on consistency and hard work. Born in Sonipat, Haryana, the right-arm medium pacer has been a key part of the state's domestic setup.

The 1993-born cricketer made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2015 against Maharashtra.

Pahal made his T20 debut for Haryana during the 2016–17 Mushtaq Ali Trophy and soon featured in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, marking his entry into List A cricket.

The pacer has been part of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru set-up as well, and once got popular on social media after posting a picture with Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma. However, the Haryana lad didn't get any opportunity to play in any IPL match.

His last domestic game was in early 2024, and since then, he hasn't had any chance to represent his state. All this led him to take the difficult decision to quit Indian domestic cricket and seek opportunities to play in T20 leagues around the world.

In 2025, he got a chance to play in the ILT20 league this year after being picked up by the Desert Vipers franchise.

Teammates describe him as the “silent workhorse” — the kind of player who keeps hitting the same spot until the batsman errs.
