Player Bio

A terrific gloveman and a bright upcoming batting star, Nishan Madushka is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer for Ragama Cricket Club. A prodigious opening batsman, Maduskha was fast-tracked into the Sri Lankan u-19 team from age-group cricket.

The youngster made his List A debut in May 2018 and in January 2019, he played his maiden first-class match. After scoring 46 runs on his first-class debut, he struck his maiden half-century in his second against Nondescripts Cricket Club in his second outing. He later moved to Ragama for the 2019/20 domestic season and unsurprisingly stockpiled 442 first-class runs. He also finished second on the leading run-getters chart in domestic T20 cricket.

A run-machine that has churned out runs at all levels, Madushka was drafted into the SLC Blues squad for the 2021 SLC Invitational T20 League. Given his exploits in age-group cricket, there is no doubt that the talented wicket-keeper batsman looks set for an incredibly bright future.
