When I received a message from them (RCB), I told them, there is a player here, look into him. Perhaps the way I told them wasn't right," Parthiv Patel said.However, his recommendation did not receive the response he had expected. Parthiv felt that the team did not believe the young fast bowler was worth pursuing at that stage."They didn't think that he could be worth buying at that stage. That is okay. Reply waisa tha ki, 'yeh Bumrah-wumrah kya kar lenge'," he stated.RCB Ignored Parthiv Patel's Advice as Mumbai Indians Signed Jasprit BumrahWhile RCB did not purchase Jasprit Bumrah, Mumbai Indians secured his services during the 2014 auction for ₹1.20 crore. Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) and Rajasthan Royals were also involved in the competition for the young pacer.Bumrah had already made his IPL debut for Mumbai in 2013, when he was just 19 years old.
