India's bowling attack has struggled to contain the visitors in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, raising questions about the team's options beyond its premier pacer. However, opener Sanju Samson has backed the young Indian bowlers to improve with more opportunities. He also spoke about the challenge posed by West Indies captain Shai Hope, who has enjoyed a prolific run with the bat throughout the tour.ALSO READWatch- Sahibzada Farhan Throws Away His Bat As Jasprit Bumrah's Ball Hits HimSanju Samson backs India's young bowlers amid Bumrah's absenceIndia's bowling unit came under scrutiny after conceding 247 runs in the Hyderabad T20I, which ended in a defeat for the hosts. Captain Shreyas Iyer pointed to a lack of execution in line and length, while Prince Yadav was the only Indian bowler to avoid conceding runs at a double-digit rate. With Jasprit Bumrah rested, India have struggled to find a bowler who can consistently lead the attack. The experienced pacer continues to deliver across formats, but Samson believes the team has promising alternatives in Arshdeep Singh, Prince Yadav and Mayank Yadav.“He (Bumrah) is a once-in-a-generation bowler, and we are very lucky to have him. But we also have some really good talent coming through. Arshdeep has been doing a great job, and the way Prince Yadav has bowled in the last few games has been very impressive," Samson said in a post-match interaction. He further stressed that regular opportunities would help the young bowlers develop and gain confidence at the international level.“We have some really good quality talent, and the more we play them and back them, the more matches we give them, the better they will become," he added. How has Jasprit Bumrah impacted India’s win in T20Is recently?India's T20I results over the last two years reveal an interesting pattern when Jasprit Bumrah is part of the playing XI. The Indian team has maintained a stronger winning record in matches featuring the premier fast bowler than in games played without him. India played 30 T20Is with the fast bowler involved over the last two years, winning 24 matches and losing four, while two ended without a result. This translates to an 80% win rate across all 30 matches. If only matches with a decisive result are considered, India's win percentage rises to 85.7%, with 24 victories from 28 completed results. However, without Bumrah, in 29 T20Is played during the same broad period without him, India recorded 17 wins, 10 defeats, one tie and one match without a result.India's overall win rate in this sample stands at 58.6%. Among matches with a decisive result, the figure is 63%, considerably lower than the 85.7% recorded in Bumrah’s presence.ALSO READYuvraj Singh Reveals Sourav Ganguly’s Message That Led Him To Join Delhi Capitals
