Led by Jay Shah, the apex body confirmed that Tavengwa Mukuhlani will serve as the Deputy Chairperson of the council up until the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.The appointment comes at a crucial point, considering Zimbabwe Cricket is currently preparing to host the 50-overs spectacle next year alongside South Africa and Namibia.Tavengwa Mukuhlani joins Jay Shah’s ICCTavengwa Mukuhlani has been appointed as the Deputy Chairperson of the ICC. He is already serving on the ICC Finance and Commercial Affairs (F&CA) and Nominations Committees, and he chairs the HR and Remuneration Committee. With his appointment, Mukuhlani will be expected to provide valuable direction to the ICC as the apex body prepares to host the 2027 ICC ODI Cricket World Cup in Africa next year.
