Much like what is going to be the case on Saturday in Nisshin, Mohsin Naqvi will be unavailable for the medal ceremony.Hence, according to the latest report by RevSportz ahead of the final, the dignitaries have been confirmed. The following are the three medal presenters:Jay Shah (India) – President, International Cricket Council;Hiroki Kondo (Japan) – Mayor of Nisshin City;Nilo Jayatolake (Sri Lanka) – OCA Executive Board Member & Vice President, National Olympic Committee of Sri LankaCracking IND-PAK contest expected in JapanThe Asian Games 2026 are being played in a slightly unfamiliar territory for both teams. Leading up to the final, both teams have only played one match each in the tournament, i.e., the semi-final.The pitches have proven tricky and slow across the competition, and India faced the brunt of it against Sri Lanka with an early collapse. Similarly, Pakistan also had to dig deep to chase 112 against Bangladesh. Both teams have the bowling ammunition for the conditions, but how their respective batting fares would be interesting to watch. A match similar to the close Asia Cup 2025 final could be expected at the Korogi Sports Park.It will also be interesting to see whether Pakistan accept their medal from India's Jay Shah at the end of the match, considering India refused recent trophies from Naqvi. Also Read: IND vs PAK Asian Games 2026 Final: Shreyas Iyer Wins The Toss And Elects To Bat
