Ishan: Match has been abandoned officially now. Poor fans, they waited with all their enthusiasm to see their favourite players in action but no luck. The constant rain showers ensure that the match will get called off without a single ball being bowled. We had a toss and were almost ready for the live-action but uninvited rain guests again arrived just before the players were taking the ground. Worcestershire and Northamptonshire both will get a point for this which means Northamptonshire will move to the top of the points table (North Group) with 14 points in their bank while Worcestershire will remain at the bottom of the table despite gaining a point here.

Worcestershire's next match is against Yorkshire at New Road on Thursday while Northamptonshire will play Derbyshire on Tuesday at Derby.
