The Sudurpaschim Royals make it 5 wins in 5 games! They are the team to beat this year! Unfortunately, for the Janakpur Bolts, their winless streak continues! 4 back-to-back losses now for them!
On this note I, Manan Mehta would like to take your leave on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal and our scorer/analyst Sahil Khan.
Dipendra Singh Airee (Sudurpaschim Royals Captain): "Yes obviously we thought to win the game. Our batters played some really good cricket.

I believe on Ishan Pandey. He is our match winner and that's why I sent him up. The way Abinash bowled was good. He is a good bowler for this type of wickets.

Thanks to the crowd for coming and supporting us."
Ishan Pandey (POTM): "Firstly thank you so much. Had to make it count, that is my role. I wanted to bat deep in whatever situation I get into.

We cannot complain about the wickets as these are our home conditions. We must cherish them. I just want to contribute.

Doesn't matter if I don't get to bat or even open the innings. We want to keep our focus aligned. Don't want to jinx anything and take one game at a time."

Time for the post-match presentations...
6:40 PM IST and 6:55 PM Local Time : Sudurpaschim Royals have come out victorious in all the five games they have played and the Janakpur Bolts remain at the rock bottom of the points table. The Royals have got the victory by 6 wickets and with 14 balls remaining.

Janakpur Bolts won the toss and decided to bat first earlier in the game. They faced some trouble as they lost their top three in Maaz Sadaqat, Aasif Sheikh and Mayan Yadav for low scores. Sanjay Krishnamurthi and Nicol Loftie-Eaton got some runs to make some betterment of the situation. Loftie-Eaton got out for 39 but Krishnamurthi got to his maiden half-century in NPL and got out for 50. Aaditya Mahata and Wayne Parnell played two cameos to take the score over 140 and the Bolts finished with 145/8 from their 20 overs.

For Sudurpaschim Royals, Abinash Bohara was the pick of the bowlers taking 4 wickets for 30 runs. Scott Kuggeleijn took 3 wickets for 22 runs. Dipendra Singh Airee took a wicket.

Coming to chase the run, the Royals faced a quagmire as they lost Josh Brown and Chris Lynn for 0 and 1 respectively. With 1/2 on the board, Ishan Pandey got the promotion up in the order and joined Binod Bhandari. They first helped their team to recover and slowly started going for the run. Binod took his time and scored a laborious 42 off 49 balls with 3 fours and a maximum.

Ishan Pandey was the star of the show. He scored 56 runs in just 35 balls and hit 8 fours and a maximum. His innings remained the separating factor between the two teams. In the slog overs, it was Harmeet Singh's blitzkrieg that propelled the Royals over the line. Harmeet hit three sixes in the 18th over to finish the game and remained unbeaten on 25 from just 10 balls.

For the Janakpur Bolts, Maaz Sadaqat removed both the Royals' openers and ended with 2/25. Sanjay Krishnamurthi and Aaditya Mahata took a wicket each.
