RCB were rusty, taking the field after nearly 20 days. Their first defeat outside Bengaluru this season. There are a few injuries in the RCB camp that might break their momentum. It is better to have an odd bad game in the league stage than in the playoffs. Back-to-back comprehensive wins for SRH, but it has come a bit too late for them. Tomorrow, it is PBKS vs DC coming live from Jaipur.
For now, this is me AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my beloved colleagues Pritam Dey, Paras Yadav, Manish Bishnoi and Aman. We will meet again. Until then, itโs cheers!
Ishan Kishan (Player of the Match): "Thank you so much sir. When you get to bat first and both the openers are looking in good touch, getting the momentum to our side, it's just your job to go out their and keep the momentum going. Watch the ball and play your game.
I think the moment I saw Abhishek and Travis going like that in the powerplay, I immediately thought that it's a very good wicket to bat on. So, that's when I thought we need to go over 200 at least.
When you lose too many wickets upfront, your approach changes. You need to play good shots and play safe cricket. I was looking to find those big gaps tonight and play some good shots. Plan was very simple for me. If you get the ball in your arc, you need to go for it. We all know RCB has a strong batting line-up, so you need to get somewhere around 210-220.
I am not so happy with our overall performance this season. We could've done much better in the batting department. We were looking really good in the net sessions but we failed to do the same on the field. I am not too happy with my own performance as well. It's the game of learning. These things happen. You need to keep believing on yourself and keep working hard."

Pat Cummins (Sunrisers Hyderabad Captain): "Yeah, that is right. A little too late this season for us. Good all-round effort with bat and ball.
Nitish is back bowling, we now have a genuine sixth bowling option. We have Abhishek as well. He keeps on coming into my ears. He keeps telling me that he would be a good option with the ball. Yeah, we have plenty of bowling options.
So much power for a batter who is not tall. Kishan batted well. He got us to 230 rather than 200.
We actually misread the wicket. We thought it was a 170 wicket. Then the batters who batted and came into the dugout said that it was a really good wicket. So, we decided to keep going. Every batter who walked out to the middle returned with a cameo.
You have played enough to see that anything can happen. Normally, if someone hits a six, it's either a good shot or a bad ball.
Yeah, Malinga has been great. Wherever you ask him to bowl, he has taken wickets. He has got plenty of tools; the fast yorker and the great dipping slower ball. He has been a really find this season."
