What a contest! This game went right down to the final over, keeping both teams in the hunt till the very end. Chennai opted to bat first and got off to a solid start but struggled in the death overs, posting a modest 143. However, their bowlers stepped up brilliantly to defend the low total. Ankit Nagar was once again the standout batter, smashing 63 off just 14 balls. With the ball, skipper Mahesh Keshwala continued his excellent form, returning with figures of 2/20 in 2 overs. Ankit Nagar and Shubham Matta also chipped in with 2 wickets each, ensuring Chennai held their nerve.
For Rajasthan, it was a frustrating night. Their bowlers did an excellent job, with Bhupendra Sharma and Vipin Bhardwaj picking up 2 wickets each, but their batting lineup failed to capitalize. They kept losing wickets at crucial moments, never gaining momentum in the chase. Karanjeet Singh Shah was their top scorer, managing 31 off 15 balls, but it wasnât enough to get them over the line.
