David Warner (Karachi Kings Captain): "It is fantastic to get the win, but I am very happy to get the welcome from the crowd at our home ground. At the start of the game, I said we wanted to play with the 'Never Give Up' attitude, and I am glad we had it tonight.
I think we gave 20 runs extra, but it was a great pitch to play on. With the pitch we had on offer, you will most often than not win if you have a great partnership.
Even if we lose wickets in the powerplay, keep moving. Vincey and Khush were outstanding. When I got in during the time-out, those two (Vince & Shah) were pretty confident, they got out before finishing it off, but nevertheless.
We're here as a team, have to work hard collectively. We know it's not going to be easy with the wicket here. We have to go back, think hard about our bowling plans, how to go about our batting, lots of things to work on. We still have a lot of things to figure out, like what score to post while batting first, how to go about it, but we will figure that out."
James Vince (Player of the Match):"It was a tough chase. But I think we batted well realizing the surface. Got the momentum. Whenever we needed the boundary, we found it.
The start was crucial. Luckily we found the boundaries after dot balls. Khushdil smacked CJ for three sixes and he has batted really well. We have done a lot of hard work. Glad to see the hard works paying off."
Player of the Match: James Vince

Time for the post-match presentations.
Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans Captain):"The bowling was bit tough as the ball was getting wet. Bowlers found movement at times. But you should give the credits to Vince and Khushdil for batting well.
We didn't expect the dew to affect this much today. We knew the ball was travelling enough and it will be a high scoring game in the later half but the gripping was tough for the bowlers due to dew. Chasing 235 successfully deserves a lot of credit. I think we could've restricted them from making the partnerships
Maybe 250 would've been a better score for us. I told the coach that the pitch is tricky. We had a lot of misfields which led us to concede 235."
