That's it from this encounter. Australia goes 2-0 up in this three-match series. Plenty of mind-scratching before the caravan moves to Jamaica for the third Test, a pink ball affair. This is Arijit Kundu, signing off along with co-commentator Akshay Bhide and scorer Yogesh Kumar. Sayonara!
Pat Cummins (Australia Captain): "Kind of both the Test matches, pretty tough. We had to graft our way to win in both Test matches. The new ball has been tricky in both games for both teams. I think, finding your way, understanding the conditions, and give your A game is something we believe in. Not really, the pitch seemed to get difficult, we were keeping things very simple.
I think pretty much the same. We are keeping our hopes high, the World Test Championship points on the card. He was great last week as well. When he walks in to bat, it is always tricky, and building the partnership, and getting things done. Thank you so much."
Roston Chase (West Indies Captain): "We never got the partnership going. New ball is a different challenge, and we did not get to handle that well. In the first 15 overs, we had a better change or scoring runs.
Well, you know, 270 was always a challenging task. As a team you have to believe, and tryna play positively and play with a good intent.
As I said, it is important to believe in our ability, stay confident. And as a team, it is important for the top three batters to stay for long, it can help us. Well, those guys (bowlers) are very hungry and always want to bowl. Whenever I take them out, they want one more over -- makes my job really difficult. Well, as I mentioned, they are very hungry and real good bowlers. Thank you so much."
Alex Carey (Player of the Match): "Wickets haven't been easy to bat on. Plenty of positives for us. The wicket has been challenging. It is always fun. Test cricket -- it can be a five-day grinder or a three-day encounter. We probably thought that the conditions would have deteriorated, so the toss was important, and the bowling has been fantastic for us.
You always want to win the games. West Indies came to Australia two years ago and played sensational. We are looking forward to the third Test match."

An underwhelming performance from the West Indies side as they fail to bounce back after a defeat in the first Test, which was at least close-fought. Australia have won this affair one-sidedly as the game progressed with four sessions in hand.
Alex Carey's 30 and Mitchell Starc's 13* steered the visitors to 243 in their second innings, asking 276 runs from the West Indies. Just when they needed a partnership, their top four disappeared to each of the four Australian seamers by Lunch, as the score read 33/4.
Shai Hope and Roston Chase tried to be resilient, but the former's sudden attempt to switch gears made way for a collapse. Even Chase, who was looking good for his 41-ball 34, disappeared in quick time. After a couple of wickets in the first hour of the second session, Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon cleared the clutter irrespective of the beating taken against the tail.
Earlier in the game, Australia opted to bat first on a tricky surface, but managed to get to 286 on the back of a couple of crucial half-centuries from Beau Webster and Alex Carey. The latter has been extremely productive for the Aussies in tough conditions in recent times. Alzarri Joseph was the pick of the Windies bowlers, bagging four wickets and got good support from the rest of the attack.
West Indies' woes with their top order continued again. Australia's experienced bowling attack was tough to handle for the hosts, but Brandon King, playing his only second Test, weathered the storm, scoring 75 and taking the Windies closer to the Aussies' first innings total and allowing the home team to stay alive in the hunt.
Australia managed to get a handy 33-run first-innings lead, but the new ball was a bit too much to deal with for the Australian openers again. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, half-centuries from Cameron Green, who finally got something to cheer about batting at 3, and Steve Smith ensured that the tourists got to something that is extremely challenging for West Indies in the final innings of the game.
