So, MI dominate GG and conquer Brabourne again. It will be the repeat of the first season in the finals on Saturday, with DC facing the Harmanpreet Kaur-led unit. Can the Meg Lanning-led side be third time lucky? All to know and play for.
For now, this is me AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide, scorer Zeeshan Naiyer and Statistician Aman. We will meet again. Until then, it is cheers!
Hayley Matthews (POTM): "Yeah, it was a really good game. As a batter, you got a lot of value for your shots. Nat Sciver-Brunt and I worked hard to ease the pressure off of us.
With the ball, I had my plans and tried to execute them as best as I could. It was one of those wickets where you were going to be able to put the ball away. I was trying to choose my areas and manipulated the field well.
I tried to control just one side of the field while bowling. I varied my pace. That is something I have been working on. We were in their step-hit zone quite a bit in the last meeting against GG. A lot of learnings from that game and glad I was able to execute.
Just come back and do our homework against DC. They are a different side and they have got the better of us in the last two games. As I said, come back, do our homework and then execute on the field."

Harmanpreet Kaur (Mumbai Indians Women Captain): "Obviously, feeling great. It was a great team effort and feeling great.
Actually, I'll be very honest, I wanted to bat first. It's a good chasing ground because the outfield is fast. But runs on the board in pressure games always help. Nat and Hayley batted really well.
(On Nat and Hayley) I think they are great players. They know how to play in such games. You don't want us to tell them what to do. They took the responsibility and batted for the team.
Bowling wise, we did very well today. We had a lot of meetings. All the bowlers executed really well. That's what we wanted to do in the last two games. The next game is really important. We will sit and discuss what to do.
The bowlers are kind people. They listen what we want them to do and execute them."
