Tamim Iqbal (Fortune Barishal Captain)- “Yes 188 is a good target. At first I thought they might post something above 200 but the wicket was not that easy to bat on. Even the pitch was assisting the spinners. In the middle, I had a chat with Dawid Malan to go with 8 to 9 runs in every over. With two more matches to go in the league stage, we will look to keep giving our best and hold the winning momentum.”
Dawid Malan (Player of the Match):"The talk was simple. We wanted to score runs sans losing wickets. If you have over 50 runs without losing much wickets, you are on top.
Mirpur can be a tough place to bat on. The pitch is a bit sticky and ball comes slowly. I am in a good touch. Hope I can continue the good run.
[On reaching 1000 runs in BPL] Hope I can get another 1000 before I turn too old."
Player of the Match: Dawid Malan
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Khulna Tigers Captain):"I think this is a very good total. I am little bit of worried about our bowling. Yes, my toe is doing well now.
I think our batters are doing well in the top order. We are not doing well in the bowling. Partnership bowling has been not working for us. If we win the next two matches, we will cruise through to the top four. We should improve a lot for the next match.
We made a lot of mistakes and we need to overcome from it."

1 THAT'S THE VICTORY!! Over the wicket. A full ball at the off stump. Nabi hits it to the right of mid-on and completes the single. A very good victory for Fortune Barishal. The fans are ecstatic and so do the players in the dug-out.
