That's it from our coverage of the triple header in the Abu Dhabi T10 competition. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer/analyst Raju Khariya. Stay tuned for more action from around the globe.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz (UP Nawabs Captain): "Really happy with the way guys performed. With the ball we restricted them to a low total. Our bowlers make things easy for us.
Sometimes you need to have that in mind as well, we lost our first game badly which hampered our net run rate. We discussed to finish as quick as possible to have a good run rate. We are just looking to win the rest of the games and not think much."
Binura Fernando (Player of the Match): "The conditions were good. Our whole unit is gelled up and bowling good. We hope to win the rest of the games as well.
As a bowler, I am very quick to assess the conditions. I always stick to my basics and look to use my skills well. It's not the ideal format for the bowlers, but I have found a way to save myself without getting hit."
Player of the Match: Binura Fernando
11:13 PM IST, 9:43 PM Local Time: An easy victory for the UP Nawabs as they romp on to a nine-wicket win against the Kieron Pollard-led New York Strikers. Captain Rahmanullah Gurbaz leading the side to their third win of the season.
Winning the toss, the Nawabs opted to field and restricted the Strikers to 74/6. Binura Fernando (2/10) and Tymal Mills (2/11) restricting the scoring and taking key wickets. Dewald Brevis top scoring with 33 in 16.
Mohammad Amir started with the ball for Strikers but left the field midway in the first over. Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Avishka Fernando (17 off 10) started off well adding 42 runs in 3.4 overs before Sunil Narine removed the Lankan opener.
Spiceman Andre Fletcher joined the skipper and added the required 33 runs without a scratch. Gurbaz finished unbeaten on 31 in 21 balls with 4 fours and a maximum under his belt, Fletcher scored 18 in 6 deliveries with 2 fours and a biggie.
Kieron Pollard bowled 3 deliveries and conceded the winning run, Amir (0/7 in 4 balls) started well with Matheesha Pathirana (0/22) also bowling some good variations but there were never enough runs to play around for the Strikers.
The Nawabs move third in the points table with 6 points, the Strikers are placed at number 7 and still have a fighting chance of making it into the playoffs.

4 FOUR RUNS! That's all! Length ball pitched outside the off stump, a slower one. Gurbaz is down on a knee and drags it across the line. Picks up the gap between deep square and deep midwicket for the winning boundary.
Just 4 required from 24 balls, a mere formality. Pollard returns to the attack.
