Earlier, Bangla Tigers won the toss and decided to bowl first. Northern Warriors managed to reach to 107/5 on the back of an outstanding knock by Colin Munro who made 59* runs from just 28 balls. None of the batters apart from him failed to contribute and as a result the Warriors couldn't get to a decent total.
On the other hand, Bangla Tigers dropped a few catches here and there but their bowlers were brilliant with the ball. Rashid Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed bagged 2 wickets apiece and were the pick of the bowlers for their team.
Chasing 108, Bangla Tigers opener's Hazratullah Zazai and Mohammad Shahzad teed off from the ball one. They smashed the bowlers to all parts of the ground. Hazratullah Zazai was struggling a bit in the start, but then he hit 5 sixes to Ankur Sangwan in a single over and brought back his momentum.
