4:42 PM IST and 3:12 PM IST: Sublime hitting from Andre Fletcher and Rahmanullah Gurbaz has overshadowed Sherfane Rutherford's century as the UP Nawabs win this clash by nine wickets.
Earlier in the day, Rutherford smashed the first-ever Abu Dhabi T10 century to take the Northern Warriors to 142/4.
Chasing the total, the UP Nawabs lost Dawid Malan early in the innings. Then came Andre Fletcher to assist Gurbaz in the middle.
The Spiceman started off in style but he got some help from Rutherford, who dropped Fletcher on 10.
Gurbaz too got a couple of lifelines but the two never looked back. The Warriors came back into the game when Trent Boult and Uzair Khan bowled two successive good overs. However, Saqib Mahmood was taken to cleaner in the first over of the floating powerplay when he was slammed for 28 runs in an over. As a result, the Nawabs clinched a victory in 9.1 overs.
