I think that six which I hit was important for my team as it helped us to reach to number 2 position. The excitement really kicks in after winning a match like this. I gotta give credit to Kevon Cooper who bowled absolute ripper of deliveries. He bowled brilliantly today and it was a special performance by him."
Kevon Cooper (Legend of the Match): "Of course, yes. After bowling two overs for 20 runs, the captain had faith in me to bowl the next over and I delivered. I just kept to my basics. Bowled wicket to wicket and right lines and lengths. The first two overs did not go well for us and I came back well as the captain and teammates had faith in me totally. I came and delivered and happy that my team won. We need to improve our fielding and catching and come back stronger tomorrow in the Qualifier."

Chasing 142 for the win, Odisha got off the blocks knowing that chasing in 14.5 overs will take them into second place. Richard Levi was quick off the blocks scoring 25 off 14 balls. Dilshan Munaweera played well and looked good for his 47 off 38 balls. Kevin O'Brien remained unbeaten on 43* off 26 balls. Captain Irfan Pathan finished things off in style with his unbeaten 19* off 6 balls. 6 extras given by the fielding side as the target was achieved in 15 overs.

Earlier in the game. Gujarat Greats were asked to bat first by Konark Suryas Odisha. Gujarat lost Morne van Wyk early. Captain Shikhar Dhawan scored 23 off 24 balls while Chris Gayle scored 34 off 30 balls. But they collapsed in the middle overs. Debabrata Das scored 25 off 20 balls while Seekkuge Prasanna scored a quickfire 31 off 18 balls to take the score past 140 runs. 10 extras given by the fielding side as the Greats recovered well to get to 141/8 in 20 overs.
Kevon Cooper was the pick of the bowlers for Konark Suryas Odisha with figures of 4/25 in 3 overs. He picked up a hat-trick, the first in history of LLC and 4 wickets came in the 11th over of the innings he bowled to turn the game on its head. A wicket apiece for Vinay Kumar and Diwesh Pathania both of them bowled a miserly spell. Shahbaz Nadeem and Pravin Tambe picked up a wicket apiece as well. All in all, a good performance from Odisha to win this game.
