David Miller(Paarl Royals Captain): " To be honest I thought it was a really good wicket to bat on, I think we bowled really well in the final half of the first innings.

Just in the final over we gave 24 runs. Just the chat in the dressing room was, it's a good wicket to bat on. We had some tactical changes, nice when it works out. I am happy for the young man Rubin Hermann. He has been working hard and it's great when it comes over.

Yeah, Joe is a really good guy, really good to have him with us, he is a calm guy. I have a really good relationship with him, as we were part of the Yorkshire team. Good to be on the winning side."
Rilee Rossouw (Pretoria Capitals Captain): "We knew it would be a decent wicket, and credit has to go for the Royals. They batted so well and never gave us a chance. When there was a wicket, there was a partnership. Two experienced guys who know what to do and credit to the way they finished it.

Luckily, we have a lot of experience. Jimmy Neesham, Will Jacks and Kyle Verreynne, who reads the game from behind the stumps. There are guys with cricket brains to whom I can always turn and make a good decision.

We were probably not up to our standard on the field and it is something we can look at and address. They played superbly well. Fielding was not on song tonight but we will continue to improve."
Joe Root(Player of the Match): " I am enjoying a lot here in South Africa. It's good to play some T20 cricket. We have got really good experience in the middle order. Miller brings in a lot of experience. I felt we could chase anything if we had the wickets in hand.

We just tried to hold the wickets and go brisk at the end. It's always good chasing at these small grounds."
