That's all from us from the 3-match T20I series between Ireland and England. The second game of the series was washed out due to persistent rain but England dominated the first and third game of the series to win the series comfortably by a margin of 0-2.
For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Karthik Raj and the scorer/analyst of this game Zeeshan Naiyer. Switch the tabs to follow our coverage of the ongoing Asia cup game between India and Pakistan. Good night.
Jacob Bethell collects the trophy and joins his teammates for the celebration and they pose for the photograph. A massive moment for the youngest captain for England in international cricket as he won the away series in his first assignment.
Jacob Bethell (England Captain):"Definitely I think except that rain washout game, it was a great series. To come out on top in my first series is a great feeling.
I think we were nice and aggressive. Today the conditions were a bit different. We wanted to carry forward with the momentum. Definitely I think it is always good to play in good and big grounds. Playing in Malahide is a great feeling.
Ya! We have New Zealand series next and I am looking forward to come up the ranks."
Phil Salt (Player of the Series):"It has been a brilliant trip. To get the win and the series, it has been amazing. We have got a lot of cricket coming up, New Zealand next. Nice to hit the straps as a collective. Bags of talent, I know a lot of guys pretty well. So, pleased to come away with a win. Yeah, we have got a lot of players who have played a lot of cricket there. We have got a bit time-off now, the next mission is New Zealand. Won't get too far ahead of ourselves."
Phil Salt has been named as the 'Player of the Series'.
Adil Rashid (Player of the Match):"I thought there was something for the spinners. Our bowlers also bowled exceptionally well I believe. We have adapted really well. Restricting them to around 150 was a good job. I think we are quite pleased as a bowling group.
Whichever ground you go, you have to adopt to the conditions. You may go to Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa- you have to adopt to the conditions to the situations. I thought we did well as a group.
We are looking forward to the cricket next. We have some exciting series against India, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. I don't look too far ahead and I think staying in the present helps you."
Player of the Match: Adil Rashid
Paul Stirling (Ireland Captain):"Yeah, we have a lot of positives over the week. A bit of a shame we couldn't get all the three games in. The ground-staff did extremely well. I don't think you know what exactly is a winning score when you play England. We might have been in the game if we played a team closer to us in the rankings. We were at least 15 short today, I will give that to you.
I think so, there is no surprise with how we have gone about. We have played well in pitches, haven't in patches and that is what happens when you lack game-time. They have been amazing. The players want to play in front of big crowds always. Hopefully, they will support us through the winter as well."
Time for the Post-series Presentation!
Curtis Campher:"We would have liked a win but these are building blocks for the World Cup. We are process driven and there are good signs. It is just one of those things where stick your hand out and the ball stuck. Yeah, think so. We have a nice camp before that. Hopefully, we can hit the ground running there."
