Ben Dwarshuis (Player of the Match): "It was nice for us to win the toss and bowl. We managed to utilize the seam movement from the surface and it worked well for us. We've identified the Surge as an area where we can improve upon. We are clicking together as a bowling unit. It's nice to see that the wickets are being shared around. The fielding has been great too. Silky (Jordan Silk) took a fantastic catch. It's nice to get the two points tonight and get closer to the ultimate goal."

4:52 PM IST, 9:22 PM Local Time: That’s it. Sydney Sixers remain unbeaten in this year’s Big Bash League. They outplay the defending champions Brisbane Heat at their home to grab their fourth successive win and remain at the top of the table. A solid all-around display from the Men in Magenta sees them get home by eight wickets at The Gabba.
Chasing 139, the Sixers lost James Vince (10) early in the innings. Kurtis Patterson, who was back in the side, joined Josh Philippe at the crease and both played some fantastic shots as the Sixers kept scoring at a brisk rate. Patterson scored 32 off 20 before nicking one to the keeper. In walked skipper Moises Henriques.
Philippe at the other end looked good and raced to his fifty off just 35 balls. He received an excellent support from his skipper as both kept the hosts at bay. The Heat bowlers tried hard but failed to create further inroads as the Sixers chased down the total with eight wickets in hand in just 16.1 overs, with Philippe and Henriques remaining unbeaten on 66 and 29 respectively.
The Sixers bowled brilliantly with the new ball after electing to bowl first. They dismissed Tom Banton (19) inside the powerplay and didn’t allow Heat to get away. Colin Munro struggled to get going and fell on nine. Jimmy Peirson and Nathan McSweeney tried to resurrect the innings but it was tough going for them and the former departed on 24.
The Sixers were brilliant in the middle phase and picked up wickets at regular intervals. McSweeney holed out in the deep on 34 in the 16th over. Paul Walter at seven scored 22 and Mitchell Swepson’s unbeaten 11 helped Brisbane Heat get to a respectable total of 138 at the end of their 20 overs.
The visitors were outstanding with the ball. They picked up nine wickets in total, with Ben Dwarshuis finishing with four to his name. Hayden Kerr and Todd Murphy grabbed two scalps each as they completed a fine job with the ball in hand. The batters then stepped up and chased down the total with ease.

4 FOURRR!! PHILIPPE FINISHES OFF IN STYLE!! THE SYDNEY SIXERS WIN BY 8 WICKETS! It was angled into the middle stump line and fuller in length. Philippe whipped it away using his wrists and got it away through square leg for a boundary to seal the game for his side.
