Milestone
That's it from us tonight. What a game we witnessed. It was a run-fest that is good for the fans but not if you are a bowler. Evin Lewis and Shai Hope laid the platform and then skipper Rovman Powell and Sherfane Rutherford provided the finishing touches to give the hosts their first win of the series. This is Ajay Pal Singh, signing off on behalf of my colleagues AkshayaKrishna Polya and Ashok Dayma. Good night, BYE BYE!!!

Rovman Powell (West Indies Captain): "The guys were more committed tonight. All the guys played well today. It doesn't really matter if the win comes from winning the toss. But it's been a series where you win the toss, win the game. We are trying to tinker with the selection to find the right combination. Because of the combination, we were forced to use only five bowlers today. Maybe five bowlers is our best team at the moment, but sometimes you have to change it up. Alzarri Joseph is very important for us. He is a spearhead of our bowlers; the other bowlers need to reach his standards. We have been looking around the Caribbean for bowlers; it's an opportunity for the bowlers to keep bowling well. We don't have a lot of options. Obed McCoy was back today. There is still a lot to play for. That is what we spoke about in the meeting. It is better to end the series 3-2 than 5-0 or 4-1. We want to play well for the people of St Lucia who come out and watch us play, supporting us. Still, a lot to play for. Hopefully, St Lucia will turn up again and support us."
Jos Buttler (England Captain): "Yeah, we looked at the wicket. Will Jacks and Salt put pressure on them. We targeted at least 220. They played well and put us under a lot of pressure. They (openers) were hitting it over the fielders, so we were trying to keep fielders in different areas and tried to take their focus away. Yeah, he (Jamie Overton) is good. We just have to manage his workload that is why he could not bowl today. He (Rehan Ahmed) need to find ways to get wickets, I feel he was brave today and will play a big part in the future. I thought it was a good performance from us to put them under pressure. But West Indies played well and chased it down."
Shai Hope (POTM): "We had to assess that's one area we've missed out in the first three games, losing early wickets. We just had to understand the situation and go from there and had to come out on top in the powerplay. Different situations require different approaches, just about what the team needs. I prefer to bat in the middle, but I want to enjoy my cricket, so I am happy to bat anywhere. Maybe I need to talk to the trainer about why I keep getting run out."
