That's all we have for you from this 2nd T20I between West Indies and Bangladesh. Another emphatic victory for the Bangla Tigers who have clinched the series with a game to go!

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Ajay Pal Singh who, along with scorer/analyst Ghanendra Singh Thakur brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. CHEERS!
Most catches for West Indies in T20Is:

45 - Rovman Powell

44 - Dwayne Bravo

42 - Kieron Pollard

34 - Lendl Simmons

30 - Daren Sammy
Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain): "I am very happy. Not me, all the Bangladesh people are really happy. We were looking for this kind of a win.

Absolutely. When I faced the first ball, it looked like a really difficult wicket. Credit goes to Shamim, the way he played, his knock was the difference. Also full credit to the bowlers.

Well, all the bowlers stepped up. Whoever I gave the ball in hand, they turned up and picked wickets. I am very happy."
Rovman Powell (West Indies Captain): "I think at the start, we made the right decision. We look at how our guys got out, we have to correct that. We felt, the wicket was good it is a different pitch, in the past it was low and slow, now a little bit more grass cover, felt it will come on.

Disappointing, as a batting group we have let down ourselves miserably in the last few series. We have to reflect on things individually and then look at it collectively.

It is the second or third series, they (bowlers) have been standing up for us, it is the batters who need to up their game.

It's just a case of playing for the people of the Caribbean now more than ever. We have made some strides as a team in this format, these last few series have put us back, takes us back to the days when the past West Indies sides who struggled."
Shamim Hossain (Player of the Match): "Thank you. First of all, I am very happy to be back in the national side.

Yeah my role is to be a finisher in the side. I always try to hit the ball and remain positive that's it.

My plan is that, whenever I get a chance to bat, I want to finish the game for my side. I am working really hard in the last few months and I am very happy."

Time for the Post-Match Presentation!
9:24 AM IST & 11:54 PM Local Time: Bangladesh have got the job done, winning their maiden T20I series against the West Indies on Caribbean soil. They win by a massive margin of 27 runs despite scoring only 129 runs from their 20 overs. After 6 long years, Bangladesh get the better of the Windies in a bilateral T20I series.

Earlier in the game, West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl first. Bowlers responded to the call of their skipper and had Bangladesh on the back foot in the powerplay. Bangladesh were 29/2 after 6 overs.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz (26) and Jaker Ali (21) made crucial contributions with the bat in the middle order. Shamim Hossain was once again brilliant down the order, his cameo pushed the visitors' score closer to 130.

In reply, West Indies kept losing wickets at regular intervals and never really looked like that they will be able to chase down the total.

In the 3rd over, the hosts lost Brandon King and Andre Fletcher to Taskin Ahmed. Johnson Charles hit a couple of boundaries before being trapped LBW by Mahedi Hasan.

Roston Chase tried to hold fort but with wickets falling from the other end, it became tougher and tougher for him to stick around. Just as he went for the big shots, he lost his wicket.

Akeal Hosein kept the Windies in the hunt but in the end it was too much for him to do. Taskin Ahmed picked up 3 wickets while Mahedi Hasan, Tanzim Hasan and Rishad Hossain got two wickets apiece to get the job done for Bangladesh. Stay tuned for the post-match presentation.
