Phew! What a thrilling contest we witnessed at Warner Park between West Indies and Bangladesh. The momentum kept shifting throughout the game, but it was the hosts who kept their composure and sealed victory in the third and final ODI, completing a clean sweep in the series. That’s back-to-back ODI series wins for the Windies at home.

It’s an all format series between these two teams. The ODI Series is done and dusted but the 3-match T20I Series begins from 16th December. Fasten your seatbelts folks as we will see some fireworks in the shortest format of the game!

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash who, along with scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. BYE BYEπŸ‘‹

Shai Hope now walks up to the President of West Indies Cricket, Dr. Kishore Shallow who hands over the trophy to Hope. The West Indian Skipper walks up to his teammates, gives the trophy to the two Debutants. They photoshoots begin as West Indies have done a clean sweep in this ODI Series (3-0) against Bangladesh.
Shai Hope (West Indies Captain): "Yeah for sure. I think it is a big step in the right direction. We have been playing some really good cricket in the last few months and it was really important to be consistent.

Well there is a thin line to be honest. We all want to see new guys getting opportunities and everyone being able to get some game time.

Well sensational to be honest. Very very pleasing signs to see the way Jangoo batted tonight. We have seen him in the nets and we knew he had the talent but the way he showcased it at the middle, just phenomenal.

Definitely, it is really important to win series on a consistent basis and that will give us a lot of belief."
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Bangladesh Captain): "Yeah, definitely, it was a tough day for our bowlers. We batted very well, though. Our batters built partnerships, especially Soumya, Mahmudullah, and Jaker, who finished strongly. That said, as a bowling unit, we could have performed better. Unfortunately, we fell short, particularly in the middle overs, where we didn’t execute our plans effectively. That was definitely an area where we struggled.

Yeah, definitely. You know, we're missing some senior players in this series due to injuries. A lot of key players aren't available, so I have to take more responsibility, especially in the number four position. Back-to-back wickets have been a problem, but we need to take on more responsibility. If we had managed to get 100, we would have been in a good position, but unfortunately, we couldn't do that. Still, I am trying my best.

Mahmudullah has been playing for a long time and has scored three fifties in this series. It was also an opportunity for the younger players to step up and take responsibility, but they couldn't quite manage. After this series, we have the Champions Trophy coming up. There will be good wickets during that tournament, so hopefully, we can continue improving."
Sherfane Rutherford (Player of the Series): "First of all I want to thank god for this opportunity. I think it was a really good opportunity for me. I think I have contributed really well for my team.

Obviously I am bowling regularly in the nets. Obviously the management have backed me and in the future, hopefully I will get some more opportunities to bowl.

Well you can see that every game, different players are stepping up. Today you can see, Jangoo batted so well and stepped up for the side.

Ah, I think we all want just one thing, that is to make the West Indies a better nation. Really pleased with the result."
