So, that also brings a wrap to our coverage of the WCL final 2024 between India Champions and Pakistan Champions. Many congratulations to the India Champions to emerge victorious in the first season. Yuvraj Singh (India Champions Captain): "I think the boys showed great character after losing 3 games. The bowlers were excellent today. It was a not an easy wicket to bat. Ambati was good today.
Bhaji is the one who always stepped up. I thought 160 was a good total to chase down. We executed well with the bat. There is no better feeling than winning for India. I think Australia and Pakistan were good teams in the tournament. Great experience. The crowd has been outstanding. Many thanks to WCL. It is great to win the trophy."

Younis Khan(Pakistan Champions Captain): "I don't think there was 20 runs short. They played really like legends. We tried to put the pressure on them but we struggled to put up a good partnership. In T-20 game, partnerships are always crucial. When you lack partnership, you end up staying on the loosing side.
I saw fiercely competitive cricket. I think this tournament is a top tournament. I think we should give the due credit to the management and crowd. We all want to play this kind of tournament."

Yusuf Pathan (Player of the tournament): "Honestly, I have not practiced in the last 2 months as I was busy. After 3 matches, Yuvi pa told me that I have a important role to play. I was given full freedom to play my game and I got the success. Pakistan is a good team and they have a good bowling attack. It is special for the cricketers and the family here. All are international players and the organizers have been excellent. The energy was good the cricket was competitive. Also special thanks to the fans."

Ambati Rayudu(Player of the Match): "The quality of cricket was tremendous. It took a few days to adjust but it was fantastic.
I think our dressing room was great. Yuvraj and Harbhajan managed the dressing room well. Robin, I and a few guys are from same u-19 batch and that was helpful. Yuvi paa told us to play sensibly and we tried to do that. In the end, the final was a great game."
