So, that also brings an end to our coverage of this game between Chepauk Super Gillies and Trichy Grand Cholas.  For now, this is me Hiren Kumar signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Saptak, Aditya and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. CHEERS!!
Baba Aparajith(Chepauk Super Gillies Captain): "I am very very happy. We are improving game by game. Abhishek Tanwar was brilliant today but I want to appreciate Pradosh too. His innings was crucial.

I wanted my team to take the game deep. If there was more than 20 runs to defend, it would've been a win for my team. I think we have a few areas to improve in the fielding area. Our team and support staff are working in that area and hopefully we will see the results."
Abhishek Tanwar(Player of the Match): "It is a good feeling to see my team winning and the things falling in place. I have backed my natural game througout and got the results.

Jafar Jamal has got a superb T20 cricket skillset. I enjoy bowling more."

Antony Dhas(Trichy Grand Cholas Captain): "We started the game in a sloppy manner and dropped a few catches. They have got a good partnership for the opening stand but our bowlers came back well. I think if the target was 20 runs short, we would have been on the winning side.

Jafar Jamal and Rajkumar have played outstanding today and I think their contributions are valuable. They are two most important members of our team and they stepped up. Outstanding innings."
22:44 IST and Local Time: CSG win by 14 runs and stand 2nd on the points table. They are peaking at the right time and the dug out is all smiles. A pretty comfortable victory in the end for them. Trichy on the other hand, stand 3rd on the points table and will look to bounce back strongly. So here is how this game panned out.

Put to bat first, CSG posted a massive total of 198/4 in their 20 overs. Their openers Narayan Jagadeesan and Santosh Kumar started off brilliantly and scored 51 and 56 runs respectively.

They were a bit slow in the middle but then got a good finish in the end. Pradosh Paul and Abhishek Tanwar were brilliant lower down the order and scored 29* and 26* runs respectively.

With the ball, Trichy were a bit expensive with the new ball and also in the death and leaked too many. R Rajkumar was the top wicket taker for them and picked up 2 wickets.

Coming to the chase, Trichy was off to a flyer but then slowed down in the middle and death overs. Waseem Ahmed was again impressive at the top of the order and scored 48.

In the end, R Rajkumar entered the field and showed some good intent but was later dismissed for 39 off 18. Jafar Jamal was good and remained unbeaten on 52* but he will be disappointed as he could not take his side over the line.

With the ball, CSG were again clinical and had more than enough runs for their bowlers to defend. Aswin Crist was good in the middle overs and picked up 2 wickets to his name. Abhishek Tanwar and Ganeshan Periyaswamy were economical and picked up a wicket each to their name as well.

Stay around for the presentations.
