10:49 PM IST and Local Time: The match has been abandoned due to rain as that has had the final say in this game. Both teams will receive a point each. Only 5.2 overs were possible today with Nellai Royal Kings at 33/2 in 5.2 overs which had multiple interruptions. If the chase of 5 overs would have happened, Madurai Panthers would have had to chase 40 runs in 5 overs. But that was not to be. The Nellai Royal Kings were 33/2 with Arun Karthik on 12* and NS Harish at the crease on 6*. RS Mokit Hariharan and G Ajitesh fell cheaply. Both the wickets were taken by Gurjapneet Singh as he had figures of 2/3 in 2 overs. But that was just about all the action that we had tonight.
