Suryakumar Yadav (Player of the Match): "I mean, I haven't done this in a very long time. I think today, after the 14th of December, is the first time I've fielded for 20 overs and also batted for nearly 18 overs. So yeah, I'm feeling a bit tired, but hopefully, tomorrow will be better. Nothing to worry about.
I felt it was crucial for me to step up and win today. Coming in to bat with three wickets down, I knew someone had to stay till the end. That's exactly what I did - I stayed at the crease for a while. I was aware that with the heavy dew, once the ball lost its seam, it would become easier for the batsman. So, I just enjoyed my time out there.
It's a technique I've honed at the Mumbai school of arts, having played plenty of cricket at Wankhede. Once the ball stopped seaming, I relied on the shots I've practiced tirelessly in the nets. Regardless of the situation, my intent to play aggressively would have remained the same. I would have definitely approached the game with the same pattern."

Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians Captain): "I don't know which mathematical situation you are talking about. But we have to keep playing good cricket. I think we gave away 10-15 runs extra but batters did a fine job.
My bowling, I mean, I do the stuff which I do. I love bowling in the areas and do what the situation demands. Today, I thought the ball was nipping around and it was important to hit the right areas.
The names you took can take the game away from him. When he said that when two right-handed batters came, can he bowl to the longer boundary. I looked at him and said sorry PC bhai. You have to bowl now. It's great to see him bowl this way with very small margin of errors for the bowlers now.
(On Suryakumar's innings) It's unbelievable. When Suryakumar gets runs, he puts so much pressure on the bowlers that the other batters can go around. It's sheer confidence. He has become one of the best batters going around. He changes the game in a different way. Lucky to have him in my team and hopefully, he will play more such innings going forward."
