That brings an end to our coverage for this game. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of scorer Raju Khariya. Bye Bye. Good Night.
Marizanne Kapp (Player of the Match): "I feel I always play against them on flat wickets. I thought that you have to bowl on this wicket while bowling.

I just tried to stay positive and backing myself while batting. I always look to hit straight and into the leg side. I thought I play according to the merit of the ball. The leggie was bowling and I just decided to give her the strike and she pounced on it.

Bowling pace on that wicket, it was easy to hit through the line. It was important for me to bowl off-pace deliveries or either go full under the bat. The body is going good."
Player of the Match: Marizanne Kapp
Meg Lanning (DelhI Capitals Women Skipper): "That was a reasonable wicket and the outfield is very quick. You come to the ground expecting a high-scoring game and you just have to back your bowlers.

We did an excellent job with the bat in hand to keep the momentum going. Capsey and Shafali played well and Kapp and JJ played good cameos in the end. The right-hand and left-hand combination worked wonders for us.

Play according to the strengths. If you back your strengths, you will get the results. You have to stay calm while defending here. Just hanging in there. Sometimes, you will go on a journey but if you stick enough to your strengths, you will get the results.

Both Sutherland and Jonassen have got a good amount of experience. JJ came in and showed what she can do in pressure situations with both bat and ball."
Sintex Sixes of the Match: Shafali Verma
Electric Striker of the Match: Jess Jonassen
Smriti Mandhana (Royal Challengers Bangalore Women Skipper): “I think the way we bowled in the first two matches, we didn’t live up today. But that’s okay. One bad game in the tournament and we have to make sure that we come back strongly.

That was the chat in the dressing room after the first innings. We are plus 15 and the wicket was good. If me and Sophie Devine play till 14th over, we will get across the line.

With the way women’s cricket is progressing, I had to put in some work to play in the leg side and I was eyeing the short boundary in the leg side.

In terms of bowling, I won’t be too critical. We didn’t field the way we would have hoped for. With the crowd, it’s hard to get everyone’s attention. As a captain, you have to be really quick."
