That's it from our coverage of this game. Do join us tomorrow for more cricketing actions across the globe and across formats in our network. For now, this is Ayan Chatterjee signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal alongside scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay safe, happy, and cool. Goodnight and CHEERS!
Reeza Hendricks (Player of the Match)- "It was a challenging start. The wicket was a bit slow and they bowled well. But ya, I got going and got the support from Moeen. I thought something over 150 would be par but as the game progressed, we realised we have to score more. Somethings didn't go according to our plan. Hopefully we will do better in the next games."
Player of the Match- Reeza Hendricks
Jos Buttler (Paarl Royals Captain): "Yes, absolutely. Fantastic win and great chase. Gives confidence to the dressing room out there. The wicket played quite tricky out there. People played well in the last 10 overs. The last 10 overs were great. Brilliant partnership between Wihan and Dane Vilas and Vilas running between the wickets. I think clarity with the ball is helping us. Bond has been great with the boys. The clarity and thought is important and we are doing well. I am happy to be in this position and be rather in this position than losing games. We don't think about peaking too early or late. It's all about doing the basics right. Glad we are doing that as we go along. Happy with the win. Thank You."
Faf du Plessis (Joburg Super Kings Captain)- "I think batting first we posted a par score. As the game progressed, the ball skidded on to the bat making things good for the batting. We got better after the middle overs. I think the tricky part of this conditions is dividing the two halves. In the first half, they were bowling well. Lungi got some good slowers and executed them well. We saw Reeza struggled to time the ball well initially and he got back to his rhythm in the end in the last 2-3 overs. The wicket got better for batting in the later stages.

We are putting up good fights and doing the small things better. We have to stop dropping catches and reducing the extra runs, like restricting threes to twos is going to be the key for us.Yes, we are doing better and hopefully we will do better in the next game."
Time for the post match presentations.
12:50 AM IST, 9:20 PM Local Time: That's it. A good victory for Paarl Royals as they win this game by 5 wickets with Finn Allen hitting the winning runs in the end. The Royals won a good toss and managed to get over the line in the end while JSK were found wanting at a crucial point of the game and the fielding let them down as well.

Chasing 169 for the win, Paarl Royals lost Jason Roy early. Skipper for the night Jos Buttler scored 22 off 18 balls. van Buuren fell cheaply as well. But it was Wihan Lubbe who held the innings together with his 57 off 48 balls and was ably supported by Dane Vilas who scored 42 off 26 balls. Vilas got run out in the end. Fabian Allen scored 17* off 7 balls in the end and hit the winning runs as they got over the line as they won the game with an over to spare.

From the Joburg Super Kings bowling point of view, it was a mixed bag performance. A couple of wickets for Moeen Ali while Imran Tahir picked up a wicket and kept things tight as well. Lizaad Williams did pick up a wicket as well but went for plenty of runs today.

Earlier in the game, Joburg Super Kings were put into bat first by Paarl Royals. The Super Kings lost their skipper Faf du Plessis for a struggling 17 off 19 balls. Reeza Hendricks started slowly but picked up pace in the end and managed to carry his bat for his 79* unbeaten runs off 56 balls. Leus du Plooy provided the impetus with his 30* off 16 balls. Makhanya struggled for his 15 off 18 balls while Moeen Ali scored a quickfire 23* off 12 balls as the Super Kings ended with 168/3 in 20 overs.

A wicket apiece for Andile Phehlukwayo, Fabian Allen, and Lungi Ngidi who went for plenty today. Bjorn Fortuin despite going wicketless went for only 14 runs in 4 overs. The others were decent with the ball. Paarl Royals did well to get the win in the end.

So, a win by 5 wickets for Paarl Royals as they go top of the points table. Joburg Super Kings stays in 5th place and looks like they are all but out of the tournament. Stay tuned for the presentations.
