8:53 PM IST | So, that is it from the first game of the day's SA20 encounters. We've witnessed one of the best matches of the particular league today and hope for more of such. Time to take a leave, Arijit Kundu signing off alongside co-commentator buddy Deepak Prakash, and scorer analyst Paras Yadav. Stay tuned! Stay safe!!
8:43 PM IST | Arijit: And when Mr. Miller Killer is leading a chase who else can finish on the winning side? The chase came down to a tricky phase at the end of the play but with the ever-calm, ever-composed, nerves of steel, and skull of ice, David Miller at one end, who else can edge!!

A fascinating chase from the Proteas batter and he helps the Royals to grab some crucial points with two balls to spare.

The Royals for a brisk start from the opening duo - Jason Roy and Wigan Lubbe. They were pouncing on the loose deliveries and negotiating the good balls watchfully. Just a ball before the powerplay, Roy was dismissed for 21 of 16 balls by Eathan Bosch.

Jos Buttler joined Lubbe but the latter followed his co-opener in the next over. There were half-hearted partnerships built, between the middle and top order but none could convert their starts. Adil Rashid and Senuran Nuthusamy assisted the Capitals to keep things tight at the middle order and Will Jacks cashed on the opportunity with two wickets. With 19 runs needed from the last 12 balls the equation turned out trickier.

Earlier, the Royals' bowlers made a brilliant comeback in the death overs, limiting the Capitals to 158 runs.

The Pretoria Capitals got off to a shaky start after deciding to bat first, as they lost their star opener Will Jacks in the first over after scoring four runs. Theunis de Bruyn joined Kusal Mendis at number three and began scoring quickly, but their progress was halted when Kusal Mendis departed for 37 runs off 26 balls after a 52-run partnership. Rilee Rossouw hit a few spectacular shots today, but couldn't settle in the middle. He was quickly followed by Shane Dadswell, who left after only two runs.

Theunis de Bruyn reached 50 but failed to convert it into a big inning. James Neesham remained unbridled on 21 runs and contributed to his team's 158-run total.

Ferisco Adams, on the other hand, was the pick of the Paarl Royals bowlers, taking a couple of wickets. Bjorn Fortuin, Lungi Ngidi, Evan Jones, and Tabraiz Shamsi all had one wicket each.
19.4 A Nortje to Buuren
4 FOUR!! Buuren finishes it with a boundary!!! Fuller ball at the middle and Buuren gets underneath the line of the ball and drills it to the covers, and the ball beats the fielder and races away for a boundary. Paarl Royals thumped the Pretoria Capitals by 6 wickets in an enthralling contest.
So just a single needed now. The fielders at the deep are being brought inside the circle.

1 Fuller outside the off and Miller squeezes it to covers and sneaks a single to level the score.
19.2 A Nortje to D Miller
4 FOUR AGAINN!! Full and straight at the stumps. Miller flicks hard and helps the ball flow towards the fine leg region for a boundary. 2 required from 4 balls now. An inside edge and the pace of Nortje is enough to push the ball to the fence.
19.1 A Nortje to D Miller
4 FOUR!!! Skipper eases the pressure here!! Fuller ball wide outside the off and Miller gets underneath the line of the ball and tonks it to the deep covers for a boundary. 6 needed off 5 balls now.
