Saqib Zulfiqar is a right-handed batsman who plays for Netherlands cricket team. He made his List-A debut for Netherlands against the UAE in 2017. Saqib Zulfiqar is a right-handed batsman who plays for Netherlands cricket team. He made his List-A debut for Netherlands against the UAE in 2017. In the same match, he played alongside his brothers, Sikander and Asad and it became the first instance of a triplets playing together for an international team.
Zulfiqar made his international debut against Ireland in the Netherlands Tri-Nation T20I series. He had an average debut match, scoring just 1 run and going wicketless.
He played his only ODI till date against Zimbabwe in 2019. Zulfiqar had a nightmarish debut, getting out for a duck.
Still young at the moment, Zulfiqar has a long road ahead at the international stage. He needs to be a little bit more consistent to cement a permanent place in the Dutch limited overs squad.
