Player Bio

Lucinda Bourke is a promising young all-rounder from Warwick, Queensland, making steady progress through the state’s cricketing system. A left-handed batter and right-arm off spinner, she earned her first state selection at just 10 years of age and has been part of Queensland’s junior pathway programs ever since. Between 2018 and 2023, she represented the state across multiple underage levels, developing into one of Queensland’s most reliable young performers.

In 2024, Bourke’s consistency was rewarded with selection in the Australian Under-19 squad and a Queensland Fire contract for the 2024–25 WNCL season. That same year, she joined the Brisbane Heat ahead of the 2024–25 WBBL, marking her first step into top-tier domestic cricket.

Away from cricket, Bourke is also a talented dual-sport athlete, having represented Australia in Rugby Sevens and winning gold at the 2023 Youth Commonwealth Games. Her experience in both sports has helped shape her athleticism and mental toughness on the cricket field.

At club level, she plays for Valley District Cricket Club, where she’s been a key contributor to two Katherine Raymont Shield premierships. During the T20 Spring Challenge, she featured in six matches for Brisbane, with a top score of 22, showing glimpses of her all-round ability.

Now beginning her first season as a contracted player, Lucinda Bourke is viewed as one of Queensland’s most well-rounded young prospects, steadily building her game for higher honours.
