Rawat kicked off her career with the Uttarakhand Women's Squad, where she established herself as a reliable all-rounder over a long period. In the 2023 Senior Women's T20 Trophy, she took an incredible 16 wickets in 10 games, with an economy rate of 5.55, making her the top wicket-taker.

Her career took a drastic turn during the inaugural season of the Uttrakhand Premier League (UPL). She played a crucial part in leading the Mussoorie Thunders to the finals, but she also helped them win the final match with a crucial innings of 32 runs not out and with an economical bowling performance under duress, earning her the Player of the Match title.

The WPL scouts couldn't help but notice Rawat's exclusivity as she proved herself on a bigger stage. In the mini-auction held in December 2024, RCB and Delhi Capitals were involved in a bidding war for Rawat but eventually, RCB managed to win it as the bid went on from 10 lakhs to 1.2 crores.

Rawat, a leg-spinner who adds versatility to the bowling attack, is a smart pick for RCB, given her control and ability to get turn out of the pitch. Also, her flexibility in batting positions and her ability to control the game with the bat, particularly while under duress. She makes RCB's potent batting lineup stronger at the tail.

Rawat made her WPL debut on February 14th, 2025, when she dismissed Beth Mooney, giving RCB a significant breakthrough. Rawat is humble and devoted to her roots since she understands that this is only the beginning and doesn't let her celebrity interfere with her career aspirations. Many young cricket players, not only in Uttarakhand but all around the nation, find inspiration in her.
