Player Bio

Mohammad Riazullah is a promising young cricketer from Pakistan, known for his right-handed batting and right-arm off-break bowling. Born on June 20, 2007, in Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He plays for Karachi Kings in the PSL (Pakistan Super League).

Coming from a rich cricketing culture region known to produce cricketers, Riazullah was exposed to cricket at a very early age. He joined a local cricket academy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where he demonstrated his skill and passion, smashing runs across the city and around. He quickly became a standout player in the local circuit.

He participated in various age groups in a variety of tournaments representing Upper Dir Under-19s. His consistent performance earned him a spot in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Blues Under-19s, further solidifying his reputation as a rising star.

He made his first-class debut at the age of 17. In October 2024, he played for Islamabad against Abbottabad, although his debut wasn’t as he dreamed, he scored just three runs in both innings.

Soon in that same year, he wore the T20 cap for the first time. On December 20, 2024, he represented the Dolphins (Pakistan’s domestic team) against the Lions (Pakistan’s domestic team). He managed to score seven runs in his innings.

He has made a significant impact with the Pakistan Under-19 team in the 2024 under-19 World Cup. He showcased his talent with a crucial 27 off 33 balls against India U-19 on November 30, 2024, followed by a brilliant 106 off 91 balls against UAE U-19 on December 2, 2024. His unbeaten 66 against Japan U-19 was instrumental in setting a target of 244, while he also contributed 28 runs against Bangladesh U-19 on December 5, 2024.

Riazullah possesses a solid technique and the ability to adapt to various formats of the game. His right-arm off-break bowling adds versatility to his skill set, making him a valuable all-rounder.  As he continues to develop and gain experience, the cricketing community eagerly anticipates his contributions to both domestic and international cricket in the years to come.
