Sianna Ushandi Ginger is a talented Australian all-rounder who represents Queensland Fire in the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL). A right-handed batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler, Ginger hails from Townsville and has quickly emerged as one of the most promising young players in Queensland’s cricketing setup. She plays her club cricket for Valley District Cricket Club, where her consistent performances at the grade level paved the way for higher honours.

Ginger’s leadership and talent were on full display when she captained Queensland at the 2022 Cricket Australia Under-19 National Championships, finishing as the tournament’s third-highest run-scorer with 237 runs. Her all-round skills earned her selection in Australia’s squad for the inaugural ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in 2023, where she played five matches, scoring valuable runs and taking seven wickets at an impressive average of 5.57. Among her standout moments were two identical spells of 3/13 against both India and England, showcasing her ability to perform under pressure against top opposition.

In February 2023, Ginger made her senior debut for Queensland Fire in the WNCL, scoring 33 on debut and following it up with a quickfire 35 in her second outing — both against South Australia. Her maturity and composure at the crease quickly established her as a reliable contributor in the middle order.

The year 2025 marked a major breakthrough in her career. She claimed her first five-wicket haul in List A cricket against England A in April, and a few months later, in August, recorded her maiden first-class century against India A — underlining her growth as a genuine allrounder.

Still just a teenager, Ginger combines sharp cricketing instincts with a calm, confident presence on the field. With her ability to impact games with both bat and ball, Sianna Ginger represents the next generation of Queensland and Australian women’s cricket — a bright, versatile talent ready to shine on the WBBL stage.
