Player Bio

Spin bowling all-rounder Charis Pavely made her county debut for Worcestershire in 2021. Since then, she has never looked back and has performed well in various T20 competitions and The Hundred tournament.

Pavely blew onto the scene after consistent performances for Central Sparks, which earned her a place in Birmingham Phoenix’s Hundred squad in 2024.

However, Pavely has been part of the England squad for the U-19 women's T20 WC in 2023.

Later, in September 2024, the left-arm spinner also made her international debut by featuring in two T20Is against Ireland.

Interestingly, the 2004-born cricketer has had her battles outside the cricket field as well. During her teenage years, she was diagnosed with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Due to this, Pavely had her share of problems in school, which she ultimately had to leave midway.

It also made her angrier towards her teammates during matches. However, it was only during her time at Central Sparks that she started learning about ways to control her ADHD.

Pavely believes more must be done to increase accommodations and reduce stigma and discrimination around ADHD.

The cricketer is currently associated with Warwickshire and Birmingham Phoenix, but unfortunately missed out on the Hundred tournament in 2025. However, she has given some solid performances in the Women's Vitality Blast competition.
