Player Bio

Young, energetic and eager to make a mark, Aryan Raju Bisht represents the new wave of talent in Oman cricket. A right-handed batter who can also roll his arm over with off-spin, Aryan broke into the national side in 2025, adding youthful flair to a team on the rise in international cricket.

Still in the infancy of his career, Aryan has featured in a couple of ODIs, where he has shown promise with both bat and ball. Though the returns have been modest so far, he has already displayed the ability to keep things tight with the ball, conceding runs at a frugal economy rate in his early outings. With the bat, he has offered glimpses of composure that suggest more substantial innings are only a matter of time.

For a side like Oman, which has been steadily climbing the rungs of world cricket, the emergence of players such as Aryan is a crucial sign of progress. His dual skills give the team greater flexibility, especially in conditions that reward spin. What stands out most, however, is his temperament — the calmness with which he has embraced the step up from age-group and domestic cricket to the international stage.

At just 20, Aryan has time on his side, and Oman will be keen to invest in his development. If nurtured well, he has the potential to become a consistent all-round presence and an important part of the country’s cricketing story in the years to come.
