Hasrat Gill (born 9 November 2005 in Amritsar, Punjab, India) is an Australian cricketer who has emerged as one of the country’s most promising young all-rounders. A left-handed batter and right-arm leg-spinner, Gill moved through the Victorian development pathway and first linked with the Melbourne Stars in 2022. Her potential became increasingly evident as she progressed through junior state programs, eventually earning a place in Australia’s Under-19 setup. In February 2024, she featured in the tri-series against New Zealand and Sri Lanka, further establishing her credentials on the international youth stage.

Gill continued to build on this momentum and was rewarded with her maiden state contract for Victoria ahead of the 2024–25 WNCL season. Later that year, she made her senior Twenty20 debut for the Melbourne Stars in the 2024 T20 Spring Challenge, delivering an impressive performance of 3/12, instantly marking herself as a player capable of influencing matches with the ball. Her strong showings carried into 2025, where she impressed at the 2025 Under-19 Women’s World Cup in Malaysia, enhancing her reputation as a rising talent in both disciplines.

On the back of her standout youth performances, Gill made a significant move in her Big Bash career, signing with the Sydney Thunder for WBBL|11. Now regarded as one of Australia’s brightest young Indian-origin cricketers, she continues to develop as a dynamic all-rounder with the ability to impact games through attacking stroke play and sharp, wicket-taking leg spin.
