Sharad Lumba is a seasoned right-handed batter with a wealth of experience in Indian domestic cricket. Having represented Punjab across formats, Lumba has steadily built a reputation as a dependable middle-order presence with the ability to shift gears when needed.

He began his professional T20 career with Punjab during the 2013–14 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and his consistent domestic performances earned him a spot in the prestigious Mumbai Indians squad during the 2018 IPL season. Later that year, he made his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and followed it up with a first-class debut in the Ranji Trophy in December 2019.

Sharad’s cricketing journey has now taken an exciting international turn. Looking to explore new opportunities and contribute to the growth of the sport, he transitioned to the United States and currently plays for MI New York in Major League Cricket. His return to the blue and gold, this time for the New York franchise, brings experience, composure, and a winning mentality to the squad.
