Priyansh Arya

Priyansh Arya is an explosive opening batter from India, known for his aggressive stroke play and fearless approach at the crease. 

Hailing from Delhi, he has made a name for himself in domestic cricket with consistent performances in T20 and List A formats. His ability to take on bowlers from the outset has made him one of the most promising young batters in the Indian circuit.

Arya first caught attention in the Delhi Premier League (DPL), where he emerged as the tournament’s leading run-scorer, amassing 608 runs in 10 innings for South Delhi Superstarz.

His most iconic moment came when he smashed six sixes in an over against North Delhi Strikers, instantly marking himself as a player to watch. 

His impressive form continued in the 2023-24 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he was Delhi’s top-scorer with 222 runs in 7 innings at a strike rate of 166.91.

Despite going unsold in the IPL 2024 auction, Arya’s performances ensured he stayed on the radar of top franchises. His breakthrough moment came in the IPL 2025 mega auction when Punjab Kings secured him for INR 3.8 crore, recognizing his potential as a game-changing opener.

With a natural flair for aggressive batting and a hunger for big performances, Priyansh Arya is a rising star in Indian cricket.
