Aamer Azmat, also known as Muhammad Amir Barki, is an emerging talent in Pakistani cricket, recognized for his right-handed batting prowess and right-arm off-break bowling.

Born on November 26, 2000, in Peshawar, Azmat's journey from local cricket circuits to the national stage is a testament to his dedication and skill.

Azmat has been a vital player for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, consistently delivering commendable performances in domestic tournaments.

In October 2022, during a four-day second-round fixture of the Cricket Associations Championship at the NBP Sports Complex in Karachi, he showcased his batting brilliance by scoring an unbeaten 133 runs off 126 balls, including 12 fours and four sixes.

This remarkable innings played a pivotal role in propelling his team to a formidable first-innings total of 391-3.

In the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Azmat represents the Multan Sultans. He has played five matches so far, scoring 43 runs with a top score of 33 and maintaining a strike rate of 126.47. His fielding skills were also noteworthy. 

Azmat's domestic career statistics further underscore his potential. In List A cricket, over 19 matches, he accumulated 451 runs at an average of 26.52, with a highest score of 82 and three half-centuries. In the T20 format, across 26 matches, he amassed 350 runs at an average of 21.87, achieving one half-century with a top score of 50 not out.
