Player Bio

Saransh Jain, born on March 31, 1993, is an accomplished Indian cricketer who represents Madhya Pradesh in domestic cricket. A composed left-handed batter and a crafty right-arm off-spinner, Saransh has earned his reputation as one of the most reliable all-rounders on the domestic circuit. Cricket flows in his veins — his father, Subodh Jain, a former Ranji Trophy player, was both his first coach and biggest inspiration.

Saransh made his first-class debut for Madhya Pradesh during the 2014–15 Ranji Trophy and later featured in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Over the years, he has developed into a dependable match-winner, known for his ability to perform under pressure with both bat and ball. His breakthrough moment came in the 2025 Duleep Trophy, where he starred for Central Zone, taking 16 wickets and scoring crucial half-centuries in the semi-final and final. His all-round brilliance earned him the Player of the Series award and widespread recognition across Indian cricketing circles.

In 2022, Saransh received the prestigious Lala Amarnath Award for Best All-Rounder from Rahul Dravid — a reward for his consistency and hard work. His remarkable fifty in the 2021–22 Ranji Trophy final against Mumbai proved to be a turning point, reinforcing his value as a complete cricketer.

Beyond statistics, Saransh’s journey is one of resilience and inspiration. He once played through the emotional challenge of his father’s illness, drawing strength from a heartfelt note that urged him to “focus on his game.” That determination continues to define his career.

A calm presence on the field and a fierce competitor at heart, Saransh Jain stands as a symbol of Madhya Pradesh’s cricketing rise — a player driven by passion, purpose, and the dream of wearing the Indian jersey someday.
