A left-handed all-rounder, Sophie Day plays for the Victorian team in the domestic circuit.
Her debut season came in the 2020-21 Women's National Cricket League, where she played two matches and scored 23 runs and took a solitary wicket.
Day featured in the 2020-21 edition of the Women's Big Bash League for the Melbourne Stars. The talented spinner took 11 wickets in 15 matches at an economy of 6.66. Although she didn't get enough chances with the bat.
In the 2021-22 domestic season, the southpaw garnered 67 runs and took three wickets in seven appearances. The 24-year-old then featured in the WBBL, taking 4 wickets in 10 matches.
