A young prodigy, Musa Ahmed is a prolific opening batter for the Netherlands cricket team. Started playing cricket at a very young age, Musa made his domestic debut for the Netherlands A team against Ireland A and had a horrendous outing for the Orange Army scoring just 16 off 43 balls on his debut.

The management continued to trust him even after his struggle in the first few games. He was a surprise inclusion in the national team for the limited-overs series against Ireland after showing a lack of consistency at the domestic level.

Musa made his international debut against Ireland in an ODI fixture on June 7th, 2021. He was again inconsistent scoring just 19 runs in the victory and this time he was sidelined from the first team. Still a young prospect, Musa would be hoping to convert the starts into milestones and cement his spot in the Netherlands squad
