Player Bio

A right-handed, well organised player, Jack Haynes has made quite a name for himself in the English domestic circuit.

Haynes is a product of Worcestershire academy and was initially included in the Worcestershire second team. After having impressive performances for the second XI, Haynes was promoted in the first team and made his List-A debut for Worcestershire against the West Indies in a tri-series warm-up match in 2018.

The following summer, he made his first class debut against the touring Australian side.

The batter made a name for himself in the 2019 under-19 tri-series, featuring India and Bangladesh. The Worcester born played a match-winning knock of 89 against a star studded Indian under-19 side. This knock showed that Haynes had great composure at such a young age.

Coaches in Worcestershire have praised Haynes for his batting composure. Still raw at the moment, Haynes will look to nurture his game and will hope to break into the England national setup on the back of a strong 2021 domestic season.
