A dismal T20I series for Bangladesh's liking. They have been beaten comprehensively at home, and it is an embarrassing 0-3 defeat for the Litton Das-led side.

Good signs for West Indies, with their bowlers and youngsters stepping up. They will now travel to New Zealand for an all-format tour, involving 5 T20Is, 3 ODIs and 3 Tests.

On the other hand, Bangladesh will be welcoming Ireland for the red-ball fixtures and shortest format encounters.

For now, this is AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentators, Ajay Pal Singh and Deepak Prakash, scorer Ashok Dayma, alongside statistician Aman. We will meet again. Until then, it is cheers!
Roston Chase, the stand-in skipper, calls Shai Hope, the regular captain, as they collect the Trophy from the Bangladesh Cricket Board President, Aminul Islam Bulbul. The rest of the team poses for the photographs!!!
Roston Chase (POTM & West Indies Captain): "Yes, he (Ackeem Auguste) is a very impressive player. Have played with him in CPL and this year, he is showing positive signs and that's why he is here. Me and him just had a chat to take it as deep as possible, He carried on, playing his natural game.

Yeah, we had a chat in the last game to lift our fielding but these things do happen. Still we managed to restrict them to a decent total, we were happy with that.

Yeah, it is a wicket where it is hard to start on. I feel, it is easy to play once you get in. This was the best wicket to bat on, the ball wasn't holding and spinning as much, good for strokeplay and that's what we did.

We lost in the ODIs, and they did beat us at home 3-0, so we didn't want anything less than that. That was the goal from the beginning. Guys came out for the whole series and executed what we asked of them. Lovely to be a part of this group."
Player of the Match: Roston Chase
Romario Shepherd (POTS): "No, I didn't know about the hat-trick until my teammates told me. I didn't have time to celebrate as I still had four balls to deliver. You don't want to give a team momentum going into the next stage of the outing, and I bowled well at the last stage.

I am happy with the way our batters showed up. The way they batted was awesome to see. Roston Chase, the captain, and youngster Ackeem Auguste were superb with the bat. Good for our future."
Player of the Series: Romario Shepherd
Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain): "I think, sometimes you cannot control some things. When we bat, they have no dew. They bowled 12 overs of spin, when they bowled, it was tough to bat. When we come to bowl, there was no turn, lots of dew on the ground, I feel they were lucky.

I am not saying that, Tamim batted really well. I thought it is a decent wicket. If it was a 40 overs game with same conditions, might have been a different ball game.

Yeah, when you drop crucial catches, they batted really well. They executed their plans, batted and bowled well throughout the series.

Sometimes, when you play, before the series. I wanted some tough time and they gave us tough time. We will learn from it and come back stronger next time."

8:55 PM IST, 9:25 PM Local Time: West Indies complete a whitewash in Chattogram. A clinical performance in the final game from the Windies and Bangladesh are left with a lot of questions to answer after this performance. The Bangla Tigers were solid in the ODIs, but have been on the receiving end in the T20Is.

The tourists win the third and final T20I by 5 wickets and take the series 3-0. This is West Indies' first-ever clean sweep away from home, as the disappointment strikes the home fans!!!

Earlier in the evening, Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bat first. Tanzid Hasan Tamim was the lone warrior as he hit his career-best 89 off 62 balls, making the tourists pay for the dropped catch by Jason Holder early on. Apart from Tanzid, only Saif Hassan got into the double figures and scored 23 off 22 balls. The two batters added 63 for the third wicket to give some momentum through the Bangladesh's innings, but a big collapse in the final half of the innings saw the Tigers get all-out for 151 in exactly 20 overs after motoring along neatly at 107/2 at one stage.

For West Indies, Romario Shepherd was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/36 that included a hat-trick, with the all-rounder becoming the only 2nd West Indies' bowler to register the feat. Jason Holder finished with 2/32, while Khary Pierre ended with 2/23. Akeal Hosein and Roston Chase got a wicket each and were super economical.

West Indies lost Alick Athanaze early in the run chase, with Mahedi Hasan bowling beautifully up front and getting the left-hander stumped for just 1 off 8 balls. Amir Jangoo got a couple of lives in his breezy 34 off 23 balls as he took a particular liking to Taskin Ahmed, who had an off day with the ball.

Nasum Ahmed cleaned up Brandon King cheaply, while Jangoo was the first victim of Rishad Hossain.

At 52/3, the Windies were slightly on the back foot, but Ackeem Auguste (50 off 25) and Roston Chase (50 off 25) ensured a smooth flow in the run chase, hitting boundaries for fun. The two added a quickfire 91-run fourth-wicket stand, with both smashing half-centuries. The southpaw hit 1 four and 5 biggies, while Chase, the stand-in captain, smashed 5 fours and 1 six.

Rishad got rid of both the set batters in the 16th over, but West Indies were within touching distance, as Rovman Powell and Gudakesh Motie did the rest to finish the game inside 17 overs.

Bangladesh weren't at their best on the field. Rishad was the successful bowler, finishing with 3/43. Nasum and Mahedi picked up a wicket each, with the latter being very tight. Shoriful was decent but was wicketless, courtesy of some dropped catches in the powerplay. Taskin, who played all three games in this series, was all over the place and conceded 50 runs in 3.5 overs.

Stay tuned for the presentation...
