What a series it has been for the Black Caps! England fought hard, but New Zealand proved superior in all three encounters. This marks their first ODI whitewash over England in 42 years β€” a truly historic achievement. With this triumph, New Zealand extend their dominance at home, sealing their 10th consecutive home ODI series win. A comprehensive 3-0 sweep for the Kiwis!

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide who, along with scorer/analyst Raju Khariya & statistician Aman brought all the updates of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. BYE BYEπŸ‘‹
Mitchell Santner collects the trophy and heads over to celebrate with his teammates for some photographs. New Zealand complete a commanding 3-0 whitewash in the ODI series.
Mitchell Santner (New Zealand Captain): "It was nice to see them spending some time in the middle with bat in hand. It was nice to watch them bat out there.

(On winning the tosses) I guess it was massive to win the toss especially in this game. We need really well with the new ball and when you get wickets in the powerplay, it's obviously massive. Duffy, Zak, Blair did a fabulous job. When it's swinging, you know you have a chance. Jamie Overton & Carse got their side to a decent score at the end and it was pretty challenging for us with the bat.

I think you want guys to go out there and play their natural game. Today I think, the opening partnership from us was just outstanding. We did really well to get through that powerplay. You want guys to finish the job for us at times but you don't want them to change the way they play. Also, couple of run-outs in the middle are never ideal.

Yeah, that was the most pleasing part to be honest. Different guys stepping up at different times. Credit to the England bowlers I feel because they never made it easy for us in all the 3 games. The way Daryl controlled the innings in the middle phase in all the three games was just outstanding.

Yeah, I am hitting them well. I just got a nice bat which probably the reason why."
Harry Brook (England Captain): "I thought it was an amazing game of cricket. We almost had a chance to nearly defend that score which probably wasn't quite enough. It was a good effort from the lads.

No definitely not. That's obviously something we have spoken about. We didn't get enough scores to defend in order to give our bowlers the best chance to win us the games. We will take the learnings and we will try our best to be better in the future.

Well, I didn't win the toss as well. They are the second best team in the world for a reason. They have outplayed us in this series and we just haven't been good enough. Hopefully we bounce back.

They were tricky obviously. Their guys were swinging the ball, getting the most out of the pitch. So, it was tricky but we need to find ways in the future if we want to be one of the best teams in the world."
Daryl Mitchell (Player of the Series): "Well, it was awesome to see Foulkesy & Ticks at the end there do the job for us. That's a pretty exciting game of cricket on a challenging surface. So, yeah, it was good fun.

We had to grind at times. It's a nature of early summer here in New Zealand as the ball would do a bit but yeah, it was nice to get the three wins and also walk away with a series win.

The surface was challenging today. There was some wear and tear. It was just about building a partnership when the ball was nipping around and try to put the pressure back on the opposition.

That's why you play the game for moments like that. As a kid growing up in the backyard, I guess you have imagined those situations. To be out here, doing it, is really cool.

You constantly need to adapt to different situations. You need to take calculative risks and ensure you win those small moments for your team."

Blair Tickner (Player of the Match): "I was actually telling the boys that I need a bat because I don't have a sponsor on my one. I didn't think I would be batting for New Zealand but it was nice to get over the line.

It was obviously nice. Their main bowlers were bowled out which helped us a bit. I was just enjoying my time in the middle. It was a good experience.

(On his bowling performance) To be honest, I am very happy with my performance in this series. The results obviously have been on my way. By the time I was introduced into the attack, half of their side were already back in the hut. So, credit goes to our top order bowlers.

I am playing again on Monday for the Volts. Time to go back to Domestic cricket and then we will see what happens. I enjoyed bowling on this wicket. There was something for the bowlers so yeah, I can't complaint.
